A Slice of Life -- What's happening when I'm not working.
Puss'n Boots Production
Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 4:43PM This afternoon I went and watched the production of Puss'n Boots by the North Vancouver Community Players at the very cozy Hendry Hall on East 11th in North Vancouver. I tagged along with my daughter, her best friend and mother. Not being a newcomer to kids entertainment, I expected a typical show where I spent my time thinking of anything apart from what was happening on stage. Was I ever wrong. This rendition of Puss'n Boots was hilarious. Get a ticket and go, even if you don't have kids. Sprite the do everything good fairy (definition 1 and 2 in my dictionary) was perfect. I couldn't imagine a better character. She/he kept me laughing constantly. Phiddle and Phaddle the snowboarding dudes from Grouse mountain -- besides playing their part perfectly -- added a regional touch that made the pantomime much more personal. Well done, thank you.
