Greetings everyone!! Welcome to my Photo Journal blog; a place to talk about photography and the business of stock. 

This image of a bunch of skydivers was taken circa 1988. I barely remember the event, yet it sold again, this time on Alamy.  20 years old and still generating income. I'll bet anyone skydiving today would say the image is dated. But it must have appealed to the buyer given the large number of skydiving images available. It's this longevity of image sales and the fact that you don't have to be anywhere near a telephone to make money that attracted me to stock in the first place. I have been very fortunate to have found an income stream that allows me and my family to pursue a lifestyle that is anything but standard.
